Il CoNISMa

The institutional function of inter-university consortia, as provided for by Italian law, consists in selecting qualified, related academic research units to form or consolidate specific inter-university research networks with a strong interdisciplinary character.

Universities

CoNISMa today has about 700 members, including professors, researchers, and technicians from the 36 member universities.

The organisation

The result of the cultural interest of scholars from the most diverse backgrounds and various disciplines who carry out scientific research activities.

The Statute

CoNISMa aims to promote and coordinate activities in the field of Marine Sciences according to the following statute.

How to Join

Teachers, researchers, and technicians belonging to the consortium universities can apply for affiliation with the Consortium.

With mission treatment, CoNISMa aims to enable the recovery of expenses incurred both domestically and abroad.

Organ function

The Consortium is governed by the Executive Board, which is constituted in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of the Statute.

In order to fulfil its institutional purposes, the Consortium employs staff in accordance with the provisions of these regulations.

Services

In order to carry out its institutional duties, the Consortium operates using its own structures or those integrated with public or private bodies.
