Notice No. 79/18 of 19 December 2018: Detailed research on the sea caves along the coast of the Province of Savona, with a view to promoting them for geotourism and nature tourism through:

• identification of the main sea caves along the Savona coast;

• identification of the protection and conservation restrictions for each of them, including membership of the Natura 2000 network, and, where applicable, identification of the managing body;

• collection of information relating to the natural sciences through analysis of existing literature;

• correlating the various types of substrate with sea-level ravines on a provincial scale with the relative sciaphilous biocoenoses they host;

• assessing the presence of species and habitats of priority interest. Identifying species that are sensitive (fragile) to the presence of hikers, including those snorkelling in sea caves;

• carrying out field monitoring to assess the difficulties of reaching the sites for eco-tourism, both on foot and by sea, through snorkelling and kayaking activities;

• drafting a guide to eco-tourism and non-speleological use of the main sea caves in the Savona area.
